In addition to appointments in your own GP practice, North Solihull Primary Care Network also offer additional daily Acute Medical Service (AMS) appointments from a central location.  The service is staffed by a GP and supported by either fully trained Paramedics or Physician Associates.  They will see on-the-day acute medical issues (that is those that occur suddenly), have immediate or quickly developing symptoms, and are limited in their duration (e.g., the flu). 

If your GP practice has no available appointments that day you may be offered an appointment at the AMS service.  Your GP receptionist will provide you with all the information you need.  Please note this is NOT a walk in service.
